Countywide Transportation Impact Fee Program - Transportation Impact Fee 
Policy - Effective May 21, 2014

Responsibilities
 
The Transportation Division of the Stafford County Department of Public Works is responsible for:    

  • Administering the county's transportation fund
  • Management of major transportation projects 
  • Maintaining performance agreements between developers and the county for streets
  • Posting of securities for roadway components of site development and subsequent releases of those securities after completion of the project
  • Implementing the Countywide Transportation Impact Fee Program 
  • Reviewing roads and drainage components of construction and site plans for commercial site developments, residential subdivisions, and church and school projects
