The mission of Legislative Affairs is to inform the Board of Supervisors and County Administrator of the impact of legislation before the Congress and the Virginia General Assembly. The office also maintains lines of communication with Stafford’s representatives in Washington and Richmond to keep them informed about the needs, interests and initiatives of the county, and to strengthen the local, state and federal partnership.
